Cold rolling cassettes are used for the cold rolling process of the wire.
Cold rolling cassettes increase the mechanical properties of the wire rod thanks to the process of rolling made that reduces the diameter of the plain wire to the desired size is a device that increases the mechanical properties of the wire rods according to the market requirements in terms of tensile strength, yield strength and final elongation, normally called Agt without heat supply. In the final step of the process of cold rolling, if requested, is it possible to add the positive ribbing or negative indentation to the wire, for concrete reinforcing purposes.
The final product applications are normally reinforcing mesh, stirrups, cages and lattice girders for the civil and industrial construction, foundations and precast industry.
Our standard cold rolling cassette consists of a sturdy welded steel frame on which are mounted two sets of 3 rolls arranged to form 3 planes at 120°.

Our standard cold rolling cassette consists of a sturdy welded steel frame on which are mounted two sets of 3 rolls arranged to form 3 planes at 120°.
The rolls, which are mounted on roll holders, are both axially and radially adjustable.
The axial adjustment is required to center the rolls while the radial is necessary to control the diameter of the produced exit wire.
The cassettes are equipped with gear system for the easy regulation of the opening/closing of the rolls by means of a lever (motorized adjustment available as option).
The heat produced by the rolling process is eliminated by a cooling water circuit flowing through the pins of the roll holders.
An automatic greasing system permits the lubrification of the bearings of the roll-holders.
